Crile Forceps
OrthoMed Crile Forceps are hemostatic surgical instruments designed for the controlled clamping and occlusion of blood vessels and tissue. Their jaws feature transverse serrations extending along the full working length, providing a secure grip and distinguishing the Crile pattern from similar hemostatic forceps such as Kelly Forceps, which have only partially serrated jaws.
The ring-handled design incorporates a box-lock joint and locking ratchet to maintain controlled jaw closure during use. Hemostatic forceps may be used to control bleeding vessels prior to ligation and can also assist with tissue clamping and blunt dissection.
OrthoMed offers Crile Forceps in straight and curved configurations, with multiple sizes and delicate-pattern options to suit different surgical requirements.
